Writing the Final Words to Your Book

I’ve finished my book.

Opening up a document titled “Rhinos Final Draft” was unexpectedly emotional. This was the final drafting document to my first ever novel. I’m not one to cry when I’m happy – but I had never been as happy as I had been then. This was the closest I had ever come to crying tears of joy. I could feel small tears welling up behind my eyes due to the sudden release of emotions. After so many hours of hard work, my book was finally done.

Relief, happiness, pride, disbelief, and so many more emotions were present.

Now, instead of being just a writer, I am an author.
